En junio de 2004 dos guardias civiles de tráfico dan el alto a un infractor que conduce un Suzuki en Castejón, Navarra, y son acribillados a tiros. El autor consigue esfumarse sin dejar rastro. Empieza una investigación a contrarreloj para encontrarle. Las balas del subfusil serán la clave para vincular al asesino con un atracador de bancos conocido como ‘El Solitario'.
Episodio 2
La Guardia Civil relaciona a ‘El Solitario' con una treintena de atracos cometidos desde 1993 en toda España. Actúa solo en dos minutos, va disfrazado, armado y no deja huellas ni rastro. Los investigadores siguen buscándolo sin cesar, pero lleva un tiempo sin cometer atracos. La Policía Nacional se suma a la investigación de la Guardia Civil.
Episodio 3
La Guardia Civil y la Policía Nacional continúan tras la pista del atracador más buscado de los últimos tiempos. Durante 14 años nada ni nadie ha podido con él, pero ahora tienen su nombre y preparan un plan para capturarle. En los últimos robos ha cambiado su aspecto, usa una muleta y es aún más violento. La investigación los lleva hasta Portugal. Necesitan pillarle en flagrante.
