In a charming village, a little girl, Emma, mysteriously disappears, plunging the community into anguish. Five years later, an investigation is relaunched by police officer Jeanne Nogarède following the appearance of a reconstructed video of Emma on the internet, leading her mother, Christine, to hope for answers.
Épisode 2
The broadcast video of little Emma leads to new leads, including an anonymous blog. Jeanne discovers disturbing evidence implicating several village residents, while Christine remains convinced that her daughter is still alive.
Épisode 3
The village mayor, Léa Romblin, is publicly accused of being responsible for Emma's disappearance. As tensions rise among the residents, a civil engineering team begins excavating her garden to find evidence.
Épisode 4
Jeanne discovers that Emma's uncle, Guy Tessier, had an ambiguous relationship with her. Wracked with guilt, he confesses to killing the mayor, convinced that she was responsible for the disappearance. Yet the mystery of Emma's disappearance remains unsolved until the final denouement.
