This updated version of "Dragnet" features newly promoted LAPD Lieutenant Joe Friday overseeing a group of younger detectives in the Robbery/Homicide Division.

Soon afterward, the detectives find in his house not only torture elements and videos but also human bones and several graves; one of the videos indicates that there was an accomplice.
