The artistic and sexual reorientation of a celebrated folk music star, excellently played by Emily Cox, is the trigger for an almost perfect murder in „ Steirerstern ". In the seventh „ Steirer " thriller, songwriter and singer Anna F. plays the much sought-after founder of an indie band, and Sascha Geršak embodies a ripped off music producer after his award-winning role as investigator in „ The Dead of Marnow ".
Jana Skoff ( Emily Cox ), star of the folk music trio „ Jana & die Lausbuam ", has become a singer of an indie band falls in love and wants to start a new life with her. Alex ( Anna F. ) is found dead. As Commissioner Bergmann ( Hary Prinz ) and his partner Anni ( Anna Unterberger ) learn from their Spusi colleague Kofler ( Christoph Kohlbacher ), someone insidiously has the oven in the bathhouse, in which the victim slept, clogged! Many would have had the opportunity to do this: Alex ' jealous, drug-dependent ex-girlfriend and bandmate Luca ( Silvana Veit ), the „ Lausbuam ", Jana's brother Dominik ( Daniel Langbein ) and her still husband Hubert ( Stefan Gorski ), as well as the shady manager Jack Riedl ( Sascha Geršak ).
And none of them mourn the dead! While Jana's conservative parents ( Ferry Öllinger, Ursula Ofner ) fear for the good reputation and even better business of the family, Bergmann and Anni set about smoking the perpetrator „ ".
