Hosts Joan Bakewell and Frank Skinner launch a nationwide search for the Landscape Artist of the Year 2017 as contestants paint iconic locations across the country.

South Gare Steelworks
A new group of artists are challenged to paint the world-famous steelworks at South Gare, near the mouth of the River Tees. Frank Skinner and Joan Bakewell host.

Rhossili Beach
A new group of artists arrive at Rhossili Bay on the southwestern tip of the Gower Peninsula in Swansea, and attempt to capture the striking scene on canvas.

Knaresborough Viaduct
Joan Bakewell and Frank Skinner welcome a new group of artists to Knaresborough, where they are challenged to paint the striking views of the historic viaduct.

Paddy's Hole
The competition heads to Paddy's Hole, South Gare, where Frank Skinner and Joan Bakewell invite a new group of artists to capture the striking harbour scene.

Worm's Head
The last of the heats takes place in Worm's Head, Wales, where the artists have just four hours to capture the stunning coastal scene on canvas.

Semi-Final
The remaining artists compete for a place in next week's final as they aim to impress the judges with their landscapes of the Hop Shop lavender farm in Kent.

Winkworth Arboretum
It's the final and the three remaining artists capture the landscape of Winkworth Arboretum in Surrey, before one is crowned Landscape Artist of the Year 2017.

Winner's Film
This special film follows the winner of Landscape Artist of the Year 2017 to Jamaica, where they will paint the breathtaking view from Noel Coward's home, Firefly.
