Drifter Jess Harper arrives at the Sherman ranch and relay station, owned by Slim Sherman and his 12-year-old brother Andy. Soon they and their hired hand, Jonesy, are held captive by an outlaw and his gang, trying to kidnap a Judge and rescue one of their gang. After it's resolved, will Jess drift on, or stay at the Sherman ranch?

Evangelist Essie Bright stops in Laramie, after acquiring an admirer along the way.

Circle Of Fire
When a woman shoots the son of Chief, all of the stagecoach passengers must remain at the Sherman ranch and defend themselves as best they can. One of the passengers is a disgraced former Army Major who was court martialed and made to resign for an offense he didn't commit.

Fugitive Road
Jess' brother-in-law has deserted the Army and shows up at the ranch looking for his help getting to Canada.
