La venganza de Renata
In Galicia in 1900, two girls are born on the same winter night in the Valdés manor: Catalina, daughter of the Valdés family, and Clara, daughter of the maid Renata. A secret baby swap driven by revenge will shape their destinies forever — Catalina raised in privilege and Clara fighting for a better life without a mother's love.

El coraje de Inés
Seventeen years after leaving Galicia, Inés thinks she has a happy life in Cuba until she discovers her husband's debts and the danger their family faces. Back in Punta do Bico, Renata, saddened by news from the island, must care for a rebellious teenager who isn't her daughter.

El sueño de Clara
Upon her return to Punta do Bico, Doña Inés clashes with the Barba Peláez family over control of the sawmill and the workers' labor conditions. She also confronts Catalina, who is becoming increasingly rebellious and confrontational. Renata too suffers from the young woman's slights, keeping silent about the secret that torments her. Meanwhile, Clara regains hope and the belief that she can fulfill her dreams thanks to Celso. Her romance, however, seems doomed almost as soon as it begins.

La rabia de Catalina
Catalina returns from boarding school as a new woman — kind, considerate, and more mature. Or so she wants people to believe, because in reality she remains a despot toward Renata and Clara, whom she wants to take revenge on for her exile. Catalina's false attitude is merely a strategy to win over her mother and obtain permission to return to Cuba. However, that will not be necessary for her to reunite with José, her fiancé, who arrives in Punta do Bico to carry out Gustavo's plans. Meanwhile, Clara suffers from Celso's absence. Jaime, increasingly smitten with her, becomes her support… until all his hopes fade and he suffers from being unable to win the young woman's heart.

El amor de Jaime
Despite Gustavo's betrayal, Doña Inés and Jaime have managed to revive the cannery with Clara's help. After being orphaned, Clara now lives with them in the main house while continuing her relationship with Celso. This situation makes Jaime uncomfortable, as he is still in love with her, and Catalina as well, who is overwhelmed by the knowledge that they are sisters and that they were switched at birth. Precisely because Renata has died and he fears she may have told her daughter the truth, Gustavo finally returns to Punta do Bico to reunite with his family. A reunion that will shake all the Valdés, especially Doña Inés.

La culpa de Gustavo
After Celso's death, Jaime has become a great support for Clara. He can no longer repress what he feels for her and confesses his feelings. Clara does not seem ready to begin another relationship, but eight years later, the situation is very different. Don Gustavo and Catalina are then forced to confront what they have kept silent about for so long, to the bewilderment of Doña Inés, who cannot understand her husband's anguish or why her daughter is drifting further and further away from the family.

El legado de Inés
Clara and Jaime suffer a devastating blow when the baby they longed for is born dead. The terrible news ultimately shatters the marriage and Don Gustavo, who is burdened by the knowledge that the child's death is his fault. While her husband makes a desperate decision, Doña Inés tries to carry on, fighting for the cannery and setting up a women's school within the factory itself. In doing so, the matriarch sets a powerful example of resilience, helping Clara overcome her own grief and perhaps find a new chance at love.

La verdad de Clara
Jaime, like his father before him, is tormented after discovering the great family secret and distances himself even further from Clara, unable to confess it to her. Faced with her husband's apathy, Clara takes charge of the cannery and seeks a new partner to expand the business. An agreement that leads her to travel to Madrid and wrestle with whether or not to meet Plácido. Upon her return, Clara is finally forced to confront the truth — a deeply painful moment that will nonetheless allow her to piece together her life at last.
