Mar advances to the next round of the casting, and Ofelia celebrates, believing they will finally have the life of wealth she has always dreamed of. Juan has a plan to make Ofelia approve of the secret relationship he has with Mar.

Ofelia arrives at the Portilla family's house to apply for a job as a maid, and upon seeing the mansion, she becomes determined to give herself the life she believes she deserves.

The Portilla family mourns Cecilia's death, and Ofelia's job is at risk, but she swears she will do the impossible to return. Mar confesses to Ofelia that she is in love with Juan.

Valeria uses her grief over the loss of her father to offer her condolences to Arturo. Ofelia manages to get her job back at the Portilla family's home.

Ofelia takes Mar back to the Portilla family's house so she can begin to get used to a life full of wealth - and the struggles that come with it. Rocío demands that Luis let her see her son, and Arturo refuses to return home.
