The stock's value begins to plummet immediately. When Beuliss Securities FEO, Frank Hatcher, is found stabbed in the men's room, Nichols and Wheeler step into the world of high finance to catch an unlikely killer.

Though reluctant, she agrees. While Jacob enjoys the advances of arts patron Sandra Dunbar at a poetry reading, Lauren carries out Jacob's wish, and winds up dead on the street. Detectives Nichols and Wheeler discover the deadly passion that exists behind the arts.

All In
When poker genius Josh Snow loses $80,000 in a card game, backer and bookie Lou Cardinale forces him into collections to work off the losses. Lou gives him a .38 and a box of blanks to extract gambling debts, and sends along his mistress, Angela, to keep an eye on the money. When Josh collects from Kip McGonagle, he fires the gun expecting a blank, but a real bullet kills Kip dead in the street. Detectives Goren and Eames enter an elaborate game where they must join in the play, or be played.

Major Case
Henry Muller packs the apartment of his recently deceased mother on the Lower East Side. A lonely man, he watches Grace Purefoy through the window, a young girl from the neighborhood on her way uptown to sell drugs for dealer, Justin. Later that night, Grace tells Justin she's done selling drugs. Justin objects and Grace runs for it. As if on cue, Henry opens his door and Grace slips inside. A familiar face from younger days, Grace trusts Henry. She takes a hot shower and by way of thanks, kisses Henry. The simple kiss unleashes years of repressed desire in Henry, and when Grace names Henry for what he is - a pervert - he kills her in a rage of silent fury. Detectives Nichols and Eames must track down a killer who is surprisingly adept, and too close for comfort.

Alpha Dog
A hunky posterboy with a million-dollar torso has what others crave: sex appeal. When he shows up dead after a night of sex and drugs with an elusive woman, detectives Goren and Eames uncover the sexual paranoia behind the murder.

Revolution
With the banks failing and public discontent high, aging revolutionary Axel Kaspers believes the time is ripe to galvanize public reaction and spark a populist uprising. With his radical daughter Birgit and disciple Mel, Axel orchestrates the kidnapping of Continental Bankcorp president, Peter Evans. However, the carefully planned carjacking goes bad when Evans resists with surprising force and hothead Mel shoots and kills one of the nation's most powerful bankers. Detectives Nichols and Eames pursue a surviving member of the radical Baader-Meinhof gang as he stages a revolutionary terrorist campaign.
