Jules Verne is part of professor Artemius's team when he accept a bet to travel around the world back to a London club in eighty days. They manage to overcome challenges to and i-in India, China and Japan, catching the ship to San Francisco. During the train voyage to New York, they are arrested, wrongly suspected of a robbery from Buckingham Palace. Only a daring balloonist may still get them across the Atlantic in time.
