The small village of Bouzouls en Aubrac is in turmoil. Manue and Johanna, two police officers and friends, meet up for the big village festival celebrating the eclipse that will take place that very evening. But a tragedy disrupts the party. Nour, the daughter of new rural residents who have recently settled in the region, disappears after a terrible accident. Manue and Johanna investigate this disappearance in which their children are involved...

The search for Nour intensifies. With each passing hour, the chances of finding the young girl diminish. Prosecutor David Levy, whom Johanna has known for a long time, is dispatched to the investigation. He questions Luca, Manue's son, who has been in a relationship with Nour for a year and a half. He claims that he has nothing to do with her disappearance. But as the investigation progresses, Manue and Johanna discover Luca's carefully buried secrets.
