Козырев прячет немцев в пустующей квартире Корзиной, где он жил до женитьбы на Шумиловой. О побеге становится известно Горидзе и Супьянову - об этом цеховикам сообщает жена Супьянова, втайне от мужа ставшая любовницей Горидзе. Понимая, чем это может им грозить, Горидзе и Гончаров начинают настоящую облаву, главную роль в которой играет Дужин - важный чин из структур охраны военнопленных.
