Megan Fox journeys to Scandinavia and England to investigate a bold new hypothesis that powerful female warriors played a role in helping the Viking hordes become the most feared army of the time. From the earliest recorded invasions in 790 AD through the Norman Conquest of England in 1066, the Vikings raided and pillaged from Scandinavia to England and Russia, as far east as Newfoundland and to the shores of North Africa.
