But as co-operation becomes coercion, Indian elephants haul logs, otters herd fish like aquatic sheepdogs and monkeys gather coconuts. For entertainment, Thai bulls perform territorial fights, pit bulls show inbred aggression and the bull ring glorifies human domination.
