A timely echo of Caribbean resistance across centuries, J'Ouvert is a joyful and fearless story of two best friends, battling to preserve tradition in a society where women's bodies are frequently under threat.
Filmed on the stage of the Harold Pinter Theatre, J'Ouvert originated at Theatre 503 in a co-production with Bad Breed and Tobi Kyeremateng.

But the eccentric Cora isn't who she claims to be, and as she throws herself into a murder case that has the town's residents baffled, she starts to gather allies and enemies in equal measure.
