Fishermen are fishing out of the sea for the corpse of Sochi's chief ecologist Chernyshev, whom Nazarova unsuccessfully searched for recently. Despite the condition of the body, the Reckless Driver is sure that Chernyshev was killed. Nazarova is not allowed to go to Sochi to search for Perelovich's briefcase, she asks Dauntless to find this important piece of evidence and returns to Sochi on her own to continue the investigation in private. Semansky's messenger, as it turns out, did meet with Albert and took his laptop from him, but another person who was monitoring all the movements of the gigolo may be involved in the murder. Having established his identity, Grigorieva and Likhach find Albert's new victim and his possible killer.
