Having met with Karapetyan, the Reckless Man asks for permission to informally continue investigating Kuvaldin's connections with Sviridov and the escaped killer Zvereva. But to do this, the Reckless Driver needs to quickly and unnoticeably disappear from Sochi. The next day, everyone, including Alice and Sviridov, is looking for Sotnikov. Meanwhile, several apartment robberies are taking place in Sochi, during which thieves act according to the same scheme: as a rule, single women who have recently become owners of expensive office equipment are under attack.… Sviridov turns to Kuvaldin for help. Kuvaldin threatens trouble with his family if Sviridov tries to quit the game. After returning from Novorossiysk, Sotnikov tells Karapetyan that Sviridov, on behalf of Kuvaldin, removed Shchukin and investigator Subbotin, who got too close to them. Realizing that he cannot come to an agreement with Sotnikov, Sviridov tries to kill him.…
