This is the story of two brothers. The younger brother is a good baseball pitcher who gets a scholarship to play baseball in college. The older brother is rather troubled; he has failed his college entrance exam a number of times. Their mother is trapped in a very unhappy marriage, and the situation does not get better when her husband helps a woman who he has a relationship with (and a daughter, too) move back to his small hometown. Right away, the two women bump into each other and sparks fly. The sons also find out that they have a sister.
