Texas newlyweds are ready to trade city living in Houston for the rugged landscape and crisp air of Girdwood, Alaska. They both want their first home to have income potential, spectacular mountain views and a yard for their French bulldog, Harry. But while she wants a house with a modern feel, he wants something more rustic with a big garage for new Alaskan outdoor toys. With a budget of $500,000, they look at everything from a house with breathtaking mountain views to one that's so close to the local ski resort they can see the ski runs from the living room.
