A doctor couple wants to give up their busy East Coast lives in Fort Bragg, NC, in hopes of finding a more peaceful outdoor life in Sitka. They want to find a large home that can accommodate guests and must decide between a place on its own island or a home closer to town.

Heading to the Last Frontier
A couple is ready to leave their Texas town and get back to basics by moving their family of five to Alaska. They have their sights set on Anchorage and she's adamant about having mountain views and a home office, while he wants a home gym and a large yard for the kids.

Boston Doctors Order Move to Palmer
Mike and Katie met while working in a Boston hospital, and when he got the opportunity to open a new practice in Alaska, the newlyweds couldn't wait to tackle the adventure. They're focused on finding a forever home in Palmer, a small farming community. Their wish list includes amazing views of the mountains along with space for visitors and a wood-burning fireplace, plus they have to be close to the hospital where Mike will be on call. They'd also like to have plenty of land for a barn to house the animals Katie wants to keep.

Rocker's Girdwood Retreat
A Nashville musician that grew up in Alaska longs for home and wants to find a retreat in Girdwood where his band can relax, write music and create a home base to start a rock-and-roll camp for kids. With a hefty budget, he hopes to find a place close to a ski resort with epic views that inspire songwriting.

North Pole Adventure
After living in Salt Lake City their whole lives, a couple decides to uproot the family and make a lifetime of memories in Alaska. They agree North Pole is the town for them, but she wants a modern home close to town and neighbors while he's looking for a quintessential rustic cabin in the wilderness.

Trading NYC for High-Flying Adventure
Years after they met in high school in Pittsburgh, fate brought Ashleigh and Ashley together in New York City. Now that Ashley has landed a commercial piloting job in Anchorage, the newly engaged couple is leaving the Big Apple behind for Alaska's biggest city. They're excited to explore the vast, untamed wilderness and try rock-climbing, glacier hiking and fishing some of Alaska's best lakes and rivers. Avid pilot Ashley's latest accomplishment was getting his float plane license, so they're in the market for a house on a lake with float plane access. Their Alaskan dream home also needs at least three bedrooms for visiting family and friends and a huge kitchen for entertaining.

Newlyweds Move North to Alaska
After receiving a promotion, military newlyweds decide to leave Norfolk, VA, for the ice fishing, skiing and hiking opportunities in Fairbanks. She wants the quintessential Alaskan feel of a log cabin with an open floor plan and enough outdoor space for their dog to play. However, he's hoping for a more modern home with high ceilings that can accommodate his height.

Couple Trades Arizona Heat for Arctic Anchorage
When newlyweds Eric and Nancy met, he was working in Anchorage, Alaska, and she was in Scottsdale, Arizona. Now that Nancy's relocating north, the couple is excited to explore everything the Last Frontier has to offer, from snowshoeing and hiking to skiing and fishing. They'd like to find a home with an outdoor space for entertaining and grilling, three bedrooms and a main-floor master suite complete with huge walk-in closets and a giant tub.

Homestead Hunting in Fairbanks
While on a honeymoon cruise to Alaska, Colorado couple Will and Christina fell in love with the rugged landscape and vowed to return someday. Now they're looking forward to living off the land in Fairbanks and trying homesteading, gardening and raising chickens with their two young children. Their dream house has four bedrooms, views of the Alaska Range and plenty of acreage for chickens and a garden, and Will wants a garage or shop so he can work on his hobbies year-round.

Home Sweet Homer
After taking a vacation through several states, a family that can't get Homer, Alaska, off their minds looks to find a home with a view of Kachemak Bay. The couple hopes their budget can grant every wish on the list, including giving the kids their own space.

Midwest Couple's Search for Mountain Views
Steve, a doctor, and Megan, a nurse, met while working at an Indianapolis hospital, and they've jumped at the chance to move to the Last Frontier for Steve's new job. These newlyweds love everything about the outdoors, including hiking with their dogs. They would like to find a home in Anchorage with dramatic mountain views, and for Megan, an Alaskan-style house on the water would be even better. They agree that they need a big yard for their dogs and at least three bedrooms for visitors and their new baby.

Frigid Fairbanks Adventure
A Texas family that's ready for a fresh start follows Mom's job to Fairbanks. The couple wants acreage and plenty of space for guests, but that's where the agreement ends. He has his heart set on a remote cabin while she wants to be close to town and work.

Online Tweethearts Trek to Eagle River
Newlyweds who met online are moving to Alaska for his dream job with the Air Force. Their sights are set on Eagle River, a picturesque town that offers proximity to both Anchorage and the mountains. The couple wants a log home with rustic finishes, a wood-burning fireplace and a garage or shop as well as a fenced-in yard for their little dog, Lulu. However, they can't agree on location, as he wants a remote cabin and she wants a home that's closer to town and other people.
