She manages to convince everyone to come together for a tree-trimming party, but the gathering breaks up quickly when Max gets a hot date, and the others are bogged down by work commitments. As her friends discover the thoughtful gifts Synclaire has left for them, they return to the apartment to thank her, only to discover that she is gone. However, she has left a detailed map leading them to her location. They find her at a bar, where her sunny demeanor has cheered the lonely bar patrons, who are now singing Christmas carols.
