Episodes

Lawsuit
Following the sale of their company Idyl Hands and its hit iPhone game Cat Factory, four friends and business partners - Josh, Leon, Watto and Ewan - wake up to the brilliant/terrifying realisation that they're now multi-millionaires.

Leon's Teacher
New boss Casey arrives from the US for a "flying visit" and immediately fires a rocket up the gang - they need to start developing new content. And fast. But the boys, freshly-minted millionaires, have other things on their mind.

Josh's Mum and Dad
Casey is unimpressed by the boys' pitch for a new game and starts a 'personnel audit' but Josh is distracted by his parents' early return from their world trip.

Watto's Mum

The Boat
In a bid to get the gang to focus on the new game, Leon takes them away for a trip on his new luxury yacht. What follows is 24-hours of drugs, murder and sex.

The Red List
Two weeks out from Expo and the gang complete the first build of the game; against all the odds it seems they're finally going to deliver on their promises. Leon affords them an unscheduled day off-all apart from Ewan who finds himself shackled to his desk, much to the disgust of his anti-capitalist boyfriend Callum. Josh accompanies Abi to a start-up speed-funding event, only to discover that as a woman in business she has to navigate shark-infested waters. At a loose end, Watto befriends a stray dog and finds an unlikely soul mate. And Leon's initial joy at making it onto the list of the 100 Most Influential People in New Media proves short-lived following a freak accident on a golf course. However his newfound closeness with Casey brings about an unlikely revelation.

The Expo
The gang are proudly looking forward to launching their long-awaited new game at the big expo, but Watto has other ideas. Still reeling from a sudden bereavement, he takes drastic action to save the gang from the corrosive influence of their wealth. And when Leon, Josh and Ewan find out what he's done they're forced to take drastic action of their own. Casey goes on the rampage and unleashes the full force of her fury on Leon. The launch is a disaster. The gang end in complete disarray as long-held grievances surface. Amid the raging chaos beta-male Ewan is offered a surprise promotion. It would seem he's more valuable than anyone ever realised.

The End of Cat Factory?
The final episode of the comedy drama series about friendship, ambition and gluttony. The gang are in disarray. Ewan finally has what he wanted all along: status and his own office. And there's a surprise opportunity for wealth beyond Ewan's wildest imaginings. But there are strings attached as he finds himself on the horns of an unusual moral dilemma. Josh and Abi are attempting to be a 'normal couple' by pretending that Josh isn't a millionaire. Watto is living on a narrow boat. Now broke, he strikes on the painful realisation that being poor doesn't make him good, just as being rich didn't make him bad. Leon comes to an understanding about the true value of money, and finally resolves his relationship with Casey. But when he uses all his street-smarts to bring the gang back together for one last patch, Josh wonders if it's them or the game he's trying to fix.
