Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer are house-hunting in south London with two couples at different stages of their lives. Jess and Zak are searching in a popular area, and post-lockdown have realised they want a good-sized garden and more space indoors to work from home. Kirstie is with Rachel and Alan, who call themselves the oldest first-time buyers in town. Fed up with paying a whopping £2,000 a month in rent they want their own home - a place they can put their own stamp on.

Cheshire
Phil Spencer goes house hunting in north Wales with Gemma and Jac, who moved in together just before the first lockdown but now need more space for them, their dogs and to allow working from home. Kirstie Allsopp helps retirees Anne and Tom, who are moving from Scotland to Anne's roots south of Manchester. But this is no downsize. They need plenty of space for when their children and grandchildren come to stay.

The family hope to find a home that Cody can live in long term, so it will need space for a hydrotherapy pool, physio room and annexes for potential future carers. But with so much to consider, can they all agree on just one house? Phil Spencer helps Alice and Jack, first-time buyers who want a home within walking space of the sea.

Guilford & North Kent Coast revisits
Catching up with two house-hunters with different needs - Indu and Jason, who in 2018 wanted to find a family home with potential in Guildford, and fashion designer Shane, who was keen to leave the bustle of the city and make a new life on the north Kent coast way back in 2003. Now Phil Spencer returns to find out if the homes that he and Kirstie Allsopp found have reaped rewards.

Swindon and Bolton Revisit
Catching up with two sets of house-hunters at different stages of life. In 2019, Alistair and Candice were searching in Swindon's pricey old town. Kirstie Allsopp realised that their budget and expectations didn't quite match, so it was going to be a tough search with some hard-hitting compromises. A year earlier, Thomas and Angelina had sold their family home of 32 years and were downsizing in Bolton, to be closer to their family. Phil Spencer returns to find out how both couples have got on since cameras stopped rolling.
