Episodes

Newcastle and Northumberland
Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer are back with more house-hunters, and while some have had their priorities changed by the pandemic, others are having trouble navigating the fast-moving property market. They begin with people moving from London to the North East. Phil is with Lauren and Noel, who have their hearts set on a character property, but that's difficult to find in their preferred town of Morpeth. Kirstie helps solo buyer Charlotte, who is struggling to decide between coast and city.

Bristol
Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer search Bristol with Josh and Anna, who are buying their first home together, and Sue and Samira, who are moving from London to a city they barely know for a change of pace in their life. However, one couple have a budget that falls short of their requirements, while the other pair appear to lack confidence when it comes to making a decision.

Devon
Kirstie Allsopp visits Devon to meet single mum Michelle, who has moved back to Exmouth and wants a place where she and her son Dan can call home. After many failed offers, Michelle feels stuck in her small rented apartment that was only ever meant to be temporary. It's the lowest stock levels Kirstie's ever seen, meaning good luck and property prowess are required in equal measure if she's to find that needle in a haystack for Michelle.

Leeds
Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer go househunting in the West Yorkshire city of Leeds. Kinga and Dave are moving from London with their toddler Lily, to get closer to Dave's northern roots. However, they have already lost out on offers in the vibrant market and are hoping Phil can come up with the goods. Kirstie is with Max, who is leaving Birmingham to be closer to his new partner Dan. However, it quickly becomes clear he may be expecting too much for his budget.

Glasgow
Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer search Glasgow with two couples whose budgets will not stretch to what they want. Kirstie is with Laura and Euan, who have recently returned to their native Glasgow from Sydney. But they are torn between their desire to be close to the vibrant West End or further out, where their budget will buy them something bigger. Phil has a wide brief with Miriam and David, who have spent eight months searching for their new home. He soon has success - the only problem is, they have each fallen for a different house.

However, living in a high spec rental has given them great expectations for the home they'd love to own. Meanwhile, James and Hayley are looking for a rural retreat for themselves and their two dogs in Swindon and Newbury. But they are the first ones to admit that their wish list is extravagant, making Phil Spencer's job a tough one.

But Chloe's dad, who was helping with funds, had his own idea of what kind of place his daughter should buy, which didn't align with her own thoughts. In 2019, Ella and Grant were looking for their own place to start their lives together. But as Phil soon realised, Grant seemed nervous about moving out of his mum's house.

North and Southwest London Revisit

In 2018, Emily and Dustin had six weeks to get out of Emily's parental home, before her sister returned from Australia to reclaim her room. They'd managed to save a healthy deposit, but in the north London market, they were finding it hard to secure their first home, and their desire for equal-sized bedrooms and their own garden had Kirstie tied in knots. After finding their almost-perfect pad, things took a turn when it came to making an offer. Two years later, they're back to see if they landed on their feet and into their dream starter home. In 2009, it was all about location for Sarah and Ian. Fixated on their beloved Balham, but without the budget for a two-bed, Phil had to employ some creative thinking to fulfil their wish list.

Sussex and South East London Revisit
Phil Spencer catches up with two sets of discerning house-hunters, each with very strong ideas on what they wanted. The searches may have been tough - in some instances they didn't even make it inside some of the properties - but both have faced even more challenging times since. In 2014, Lia and Andrew said they were done renting in London's popular Isle of Dogs, and wanted to buy their own home now they were starting a family.
