Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer help first time buyers Ellen and Michael and Nune and Benoit find a home in Berkshire. Twenty-somethings Ellen and Michael want to move out of their respective parents' houses into their first flat together but need Kirstie's help with not getting so overwhelmed by the house-hunting process. Nune and Benoit have a very modern approach to searching for a new home and have used AI to help them choose Maidenhead as their ideal destination.

Edinburgh
Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer are in Edinburgh helping house-hunters who want to be in the capital's most popular enclaves. Kirstie is with Northern Irishman Rob and his Mexican wife Maria, who want out of their noisy rented tenement flat, and into a house of their own where their one-year-old daughter Olivia can flourish. Phil is with James and Lesley, who is living with ME, or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, which has affected their search. Lesley's condition impacts what they need in a property and also how often they've been able to go out to viewings, so Phil shows them various options that suit their future-proofing requirements.

East London
In east London, can Kirstie hit the right note with musicians Molly and Sam, who need a place to grow into? And Phil tackles Barrie and Tash's very small search area and very big wish list.

Leeds and Oxford Revisit
Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer catch up with past house-hunters Sammi and Tom from Leeds and Tim from Oxford to see where they are now. Sammi and Tom's plan of house, marriage, children was stuck at the first hurdle due to rising house prices but with Phil's help the pair found a two-bed terrace that suited them perfectly. In 2016, Kirstie helped Tim search for an oasis of his own but even his budget of £250,000 wasn't enough to tick all of his boxes.
