(End of flashback) Back to the 1930s when NGO-TIN is standing on the summit of his power, he inquires with YAT-LEUNG about the gambling license application processing time, but 4YAT-LEUNG just tells him to wait patiently. Using his father's failing health as an excuse, MAN-BUN goes to meet SIU-LAU again, begging her not to break up. Meanwhile, YUET-LAN informs that NGO-TIN has invested and formed a new troupe, intending to invite SIU-LAU to perform. KWOK-TUNG's cotton mill has recorded a drastic decline in business, so KWOK-TUNG decides to fold the company. As for SIU-SHAN, he starts currying favor with YAT-LEUNG as he holds YAT-LEUNG's military power in high regard. Seeing that YAT-LEUNG is looking for some French wine, SIU-SHAN immediately promises to find him some. NGO-TIN meets up with SIU-HONG and KING-CHUEN, seeking a second opinion as to what kind of new business they could invest in, so SIU-HONG proposes opening a bank……
