Montezuma's Curse
Legend has it that five hundred years ago a vast fortune in gold was hidden by the Aztecs somewhere in the American southwest. Now three families are closing in on what they believe is the location of the treasure. Each family following a different set of clues. Will they succeed or will they succumb to the curse that was placed on the gold?

Buried Below
The Dillman Family completes the underwater dye test at Shadow Cave. In Nevada, the Miners bring in a Cave ROV so they can explore past the dangerous mine collapse.

Spanish Death Trap
The Miners in Nevada use a smoke gun to find another entrance to a dangerous tunnel system. In New Mexico, the Villescas family uses crossbow ingenuity to find their way into a sketchy mine.

Weeping Cave
After a few hits and misses, the Dillman family seek answers in the mysterious Weeping Cave, where they look underwater for evidence of the Aztecs. The Villescas family build a shaker box to help sift through material at a faster pace in the hunt for signs of the Spanish. And in Nevada the miners bring an expert to look at a very unusual discovery from the mine.

A Grave Discovery
The Villescas talk with an expert about whether a spur they found could tie to the Conquistadors. In Nevada, the Miners' search gets sidetracked by the discovery of a potential grave site.

A Hidden Chamber
In New Mexico, the Villescas family decide to risk everything by bringing in more heavy machinery and a full crew for one final push to find Conquistador gold. In Nevada, the Miners' years of Aztec research is threatened when the Sheriff's Department launches an investigation into a grave located directly on their treasure site. In Utah, the Dillmans call in a geophysicist to pinpoint underground caves and caverns, leading to one of the largest finds of their family's 56-year hunt.

Chamber of Secrets
In Utah, the Dillman family drill into what they believe could be the hidden treasure chamber that their late grandfather predicted. After a close encounter, the Gold Miners in Nevada must find another way into the rest of the underground tunnel system. Meanwhile in New Mexico, after weeks of digging in the Fire Pits with numerous signs of the Conquistadors, the Villescas family makes an underground discovery that could blow their search wide open.

Explosive Discoveries
In Utah, the Dillmans must be careful not to trigger an Aztec water trap while digging deep into the cave chamber. In New Mexico, after finding a man-made vault, the Villescas family discovers that there are more secrets buried beneath the Fire Pits. Meanwhile, the Miners in Nevada finally bring in explosives to blow open the mystery waiting for them behind the walls of their mine shaft.
