Love By Chance - Season 1

Season 1
An incredibly timid freshman, Pete has found adjusting to university life to be a bit more challenging than he anticipated. Because of his good looks and his wealth, Pete has always been approached by those interested in him, but time and experience has taught him that letting people in only leads to heartache; a fact that becomes even more apparent once people learn that he is gay. Now using his shyness as a means of self-preservation, Pete does all he can to keep people out, thereby protecting himself from the cruelty of others.
But everything changes the day an accident causes Ae to come crashing into Pete's life. A freshman from the Engineering School, Ae is a kindhearted soul who is always willing to help those in need. When Ae learns Pete is being blackmailed by his ex, he steps in, saving Pete from his ex's constant torment. Drawn to Ae's kindness, Pete can't help but fall for his gentle-natured friend. But Pete knows only too well, how painful life can be when you don't conform to society's norms; so he suppresses his feelings, hoping that in so doing, he can spare his new friend from the ridicule of others.
Unbeknownst to Pete, Ae has begun to reciprocate his friend's feelings. Drawn to Pete's kindness and endearing innocence, Ae knows his heart belongs to his friend, but how can he admit his feelings without jeopardizing their friendship?

Episodes

Episode 1
Two university students Ae and Pete meet by chance after Ae's bike collides with Pete. Soon after, their paths cross again when Ae discovers that Pete is being abused and blackmailed by a bully named Trump who threatens to out Pete as gay to his mother.

Episode 2
Ae once again comes to Pete's rescue as Trump continues to threaten him. Pete's close and wealthy friend, Tin from the International Program at their college, warns Pete not to befriend students from the Thai Program, like Ae, as he believes they will try to use them for their money.

Episode 3
The conflict between Trump and Pete reaches a violent climax. Tum receives a much anticipated phone call from his brother Tar, announcing his upcoming return to Thailand.

Episode 4
After nursing his wounds, Pete turns to Tin to seek help investigating Trump. Ae opens up to Pete about his feelings after their trip to the movies.
Narrowly escaping a car crash, Tin and Can have a rocky first introduction.

Episode 5
Chompoo, who has been infatuated with Ae after he saved her bag, seeks out Ae and confesses her affection for him in front of Pete. Pete feels guilt over his relationship with Ae after hearing how Chompoo feels. Pond helps Pete shop for a special gift for Ae to thank him for being his hero.
Tin makes a bitter enemy out of Can after insulting him and calling him dirty and poor.

Episode 6
Pete begins avoiding Ae after deciding that Chompoo would be a better partner for Ae than he would. After patching things up with Ae, Pete delivers the gift that he bought producing an unexpected reaction. Tin concludes his investigation into Trump. Tar returns to Thailand from his time abroad.

Episode 7
Tin makes a proposition to Pete to end his relationship with Ae. Can grows increasingly annoyed with Tin's rudeness towards his friends.
Tar seeks advice from an old friend, Type, on his continued struggle with trauma from his past.

Episode 8
On his mother's suggestion, Pete rents an apartment closer to his college. Ae invites Pete to meet his family at his niece's birthday party.
Can finally pushes Tin over the edge when he calls him an "unloved child" resulting in Tin kissing Can to annoy him.

Episode 9
Neither Tin nor Can are able to stop thinking about their kiss. Pond organizes a raucous party in his dorm room to intentionally force Ae to sleep at Pete's new apartment.
Tum comforts Tar after he experiences nightmares of his assault.

Episode 10
Pete, Pond, and Cha-am cheer on Ae at his soccer match. Can ruin's the Sports Science soccer team's game after getting distracted by a very forward advance from Tin.
Ae and Pete visit Pete's mother for her birthday where they meet up with Pete's childhood friend, Deli.

Episode 11
While Can is spending the day with his family he unexpectedly encounter Tin, who then joins for a family luncheon. After the outing, Tin reveals to Can why he doesn't trust anyone. Lemon asks Can for his help acquiring photos of Tin.

Episode 12
Tin invites Can on a lunch date to apologize for being rude to him when they first met. Later during a trip to the mall, Can overhears people gossiping that Tin is a drug addict. When Can confronts Tin about this rumor Tin finally opens up about his history with his brother Tul and his parents.

Episode 13
Tum notices that Tar seems to be hiding something from him and is jealous that Tar will confide in Tharn and Type but not him. Pete prepares a special homemade gift for Ae's birthday.

Episode 14
After months of trying to lure Techno to him, Kengkla makes a move when Techno stumbles into his bed after a night of heavy drinking.
Tum confronts Tar about his plans to return to France early after their previous fight. When Tum confesses his love for Tar, Tar finds the courage to finally open up to Tum about his assault.
Can panics when Tin asks him to be his boyfriend.
