But as the first doctor's appointment approaches, Rebecca tells Sean that she's had a miscarriage. Devastated by the news, Sean doubles down on supporting his terminally ill girlfriend and, to earn much-needed cash, he goes to work renovating the home of Rebecca's gay friend Steve. But what he discovers at that house unravels the many layers of deception that Rebecca has been weaving.
