Destiny Payton starts to embrace her single era after learning her ex, Lance, fathered a child while they were dating. As LaTisha and Marsau face their eldest child preparing to leave for college, they attempt to rise above gossip about their relationship, and a family member returns to get to the bottom of the rumors. Kimmi and Maurice Scott confront uncomfortable truths when Kimmi's son, Jaylin, challenges Maurice about his parenting double standard. And LaTricia Reedus finds herself torn between her partner, Ken Lee, and her estranged husband, Marques, whose return stirs up old wounds and sends LaTricia on a powerful journey of self-discovery.

Ken and Tricia recount Marques' outburst. Martell and Destiny talk about the future. Scott Manor is finally taking shape. LaTisha is nervous about MJ and college. Maurice tries to talk to Marques. Tricia, Ken and Marques face off in explosive fashion.

Maur Or Less The Favorite
After an altercation turns physical, Ken gets defensive with his friends about his relationship. Nell is annoyed that Tisha refuses to be transparent. Maurice learns Jaylin sees Marsau as a father figure and argues with Marsau.

Cowboys and NDAs
Drama takes over Tricia's western-themed birthday party when Nell confronts Kimmi and Tisha about their lack of transparency, and the men corner Chris about his NDA comments. Tensions rise when Tisha steps in and demands Chris tells the truth.

Nell To The No
Nell hatches a plan to help Lance with the baby, whether Chris likes it or not. Destiny refuses to take sides between the Scotts and Martell. Trish convinces an irate Nell to talk it out with Tisha, but their meeting goes left.

Martell Me No Lies
Nell and Tisha try to mend fences. Kimmi questions if reasoning with Martell is a lost cause. Marsau warns Tisha not to trust Destiny. Maurice confronts Martell about his accusations of infidelity against Marsau and himself.

BeTwan Two Worlds
Tempers flare as the guys try to get to the bottom of the beef between Marsau and Martell. Lance and Destiny agree to be friends. Nell is upset that Destiny wants to date her godson, Twon. Nell agrees to meet up with Destiny to work through their issues.

Humpsville, AL
Maurice goads Marsau and Martell into meeting. Ken threatens to move out after he and Tricia hit a rough patch. Marsau spends time with Maci. Tricia vents to Sharon and Destiny. Martell and Marsau attempt to end their war of words.

Ken We Fix It?
The new episodes begin with Marsau and Martell having settled their beef and calling a truce, inspiring the Fletchers to throw a get-together game night for the group. Meanwhile, Destiny goes on a date with Nell's godson, and Latricia and Ken have a heart to heart that prompts Latricia to begin a powerful healing journey through therapy.
