Season 1
Ke Yuruo gave up her dream of dancing for her parents and entered a seven-year loveless business marriage with the Xu family, only to discover her husband Xu Zichen's affair. She decided to end the marriage. Her mother-in-law, Xu Lan, plotted to seize the Ke family fortune and enlisted Li Haoqing, a former member of Ke's dance troupe who had long loved her. Though appearing to work for Xu Lan, he secretly helped Ke. Ke's best friend Shen Yan, who was in love with Xu Zichen, was manipulated by Xu Lan. But Shen eventually chose to help Ke under repeated pressure. Moved by Shen Yan's suffering, Xu Zichen repented. With the help of friends such as Fu Wan, Ke Yuruo defeated Xu Lan, reclaimed her family's assets, and ultimately found happiness with Li Haoqing.
