Hyo-ri’s Runaway
Hyo-ri drives her drunk mother home after another get-together. Tired and angry, Hyo-ri says she'll never live like her. Ji-an needs to pay Hyo-ri's tuition, but her acquaintance hasn't repaid the 30,000 dollars she owes. As the tuition deadline approaches, Ji-an calls Hyo-ri's university to confirm the date, but she hears something she didn't expect.

Fate or Coincidence
The boss tells Ji-an she must take responsibility for the audit issue and leave the company. Feeling guilty for not being there when Hyo-ri needed her most, Ji-an promises that she will stay by Hyo-ri's side and protect her from now on. On her way to see Hyo-ri, Ji-an unexpectedly runs into an old crush from years ago.

When Something Starts to Grow
Ji-an begs Jeong-seok to renovate the house together, but Jeong-seok tells her he absolutely doesn't want to. However, Jeong-seok finds it difficult to completely ignore Ji-an's request. Hyo-ri calls Seon-yeong and tells her to take Ji-an to Seoul. While working together at the flower farm, everything seemed beautiful to Bo-hyeon, as if he had fallen for Hyo-ri.

Unspoken Feelings
Hyo-ri shares with Seon-yeong her worries about how to break the news of her illness to Suk. Seon-yeong comforts her, saying that since it's Suk, she will understand Hyo-ri's feelings without saying a word. Meanwhile, Jeong-seok and Ji-an head to Seoul to meet the field team and also to check out Ji-an's house.

The Woman with the Suitcase
An old woman appears and claims to be Ji-an's mother. Ji-an says her mother died more than 20 years ago. Still, when she sees the woman carrying the same suitcase her mother once had, she feels unsettled. Yet the strange woman appears again at Ji-an's home, scolding her just like a mother would. Then, an unexpected accident breaks out in the house.

The Wound Mun-hui Hides
Hyo-ri is taken to the hospital, and Jeong-seok is concerned that Ji-an might have been shocked. Out of the blue, Bo-hyeon's mother is back, and Bo-hyeon and Jeong-seok are uncomfortable with her around them. At the hospital, Ji-an runs into Mun-hui by chance, and an unexpected encounter unravels secrets about her identity and family.

Yeo-jeong’s Warning
On the grand opening day of Nature's Masterpiece, Seon-yeong and Ji-an's restaurant launch is met with great success. In the middle of the celebration, Yeo-jeong makes her presence felt. With a sharp tone, she says she is uncomfortable with Jeong-seok being too close to Ji-an. Meanwhile, Hyo-ri confesses her condition to Bo-hyeon.

Life without Your Dearest

When I Feel Love For the First Time
Yeo-jeong asks Ji-an to help her reconnect with Jeong-seok and Bo-hyeon, which puts Ji-an in a difficult position. Ji-an decides to give up on Jeong-seok on one condition - that Yeo-jeong properly apologise for what she did to Jeong-seok in Germany. Meanwhile, Suk comes to visit Hyo-ri in Cheonghae and has it out with So-yeon once and for all.

Spring, And…
Tae-oh goes to see his mom, thanks to Seon-yeong's help, and he finds out what his mom's been hiding from him. Hyo-ri goes on an overnight trip with Bo-hyeon, and so do Ji-an and Jeong-seok. After the mother and daughter's happy trips, Ji-an receives news that Hyo-ri's surgery has been moved up, and she hopes her daughter's surgery will bring them spring again.

To You Who Resembles Me
Hyo-ri's surgery date gets moved up, and the residents of Cheonghae offer comfort and support to Hyo-ri and Ji-an in their own ways. Jeong-seok reassures Hyo-ri that he will stay by Ji-an's side, no matter what happens. Meanwhile, Ji-an tells Jeong-seok who the birthmother of Hyo-ri was and how Hyo-ri was raised.

To All of Our First Love
Before her surgery, Hyo-ri confesses to her mom that she is the best kind of mother she could ever had. After Hyo-ri returns from surgery, Bo-hyeon tells her he wants to go study in Germany. Inspired by what Bo-hyeon said, Hyo-ri decides to pursue studying medicine.
