Ten men and women gather at a high-rise hotel and are told the rule that they are not allowed to share who their ex-lover "X" is during the Hocance. With each one of them feeling the magnitude of his or her ex-lover's presence, will they be able to overcome their past relationships and embark on a new love affair? A journey of encounters, reunions, and self-examination begins.

A shuffle date command over the female members memorable date sites. What are the thoughts of each of the five pairs at their memorable dates? The next day, all 10 of them decide to go to a fireworks display together. There, those who drew the lucky card in a game were given special seats where they could watch the fireworks alone. Now, who will be the lucky couple?
I came here because of you.
Tears in Ami's eyes as she watches the fireworks. What is the reason? Arisa and Daiki are enjoying their date in Asakusa and are getting close to each other quickly. However, Kyohei is alone in the living room. Kyohei, who is concerned about Arisa, asks for a chance to talk to her, but fails. He was impatient with the sudden closeness of Daiki and Arisa.
They lit a new fire of love.
Kyohei tells Arisa that he is going to confront her. However, Daiki declares to Kyohei that he is also attracted to Arisa. Masashi prepares a surprise for Ami. Ami is thrilled, but her feelings are shaken when she remembers "X".

Daiki asks Arisa out on a date and tries hard to please her. Ami feels comfortable on her date with Masashi. Kyohei is a bit of a wimp, and Arisa's reaction is... Daiki calls Mai. What are Mai's true feelings?

Life in Hocance is coming to an end. Masashi starts to sing with his guitar. But this leads to an unexpected situation…?! The X of each of them is finally announced. And the stage is set for transit! At the new place, they confirm their feelings for the final confession.

Those who have someone they want to tell their feelings to confess their feelings to at the bus stop, and those who receive the confession choose whether to get on the bus together or not and go their separate ways. What answer will each of them come up with⁈ The story comes to an unpredictable and spectacular finale.
