The nation's favourite gardener Alan Titchmarsh returns with a brand new series of his hit ITV peak-time gardening programme, Love Your Garden.
Love Your Garden (9 x 60 mins) will see the writer, broadcaster and TV personality travel the country to give surprise transformations to the outdoor spaces of some of Britain's most deserving people.
Alan and his team of experts transform barren plots and small neglected grounds into stunning gardens and lifestyle-enhancing outdoor living spaces - while informing and inspiring viewers on how to recreate the look themselves with minimum fuss.
In each episode, Alan surprises garden owners who have an inspiring story to tell and whose outdoor space is in desperate need of a transformation. While the owner is whisked away, Alan designs the new-look garden – taking inspiration from the best gardens in the area and asking for help from local people and the owner's friends in completing the project.

Plymouth
In the first of this new series, Alan Titchmarsh and the team head to Plymouth to create a show-stopping contemporary garden for an outstanding ex-Marine, Mark Ormrod, 36, and his young family. Despite tragically losing both his legs and an arm in Afghanistan in an IED incident, Mark made a remarkable recovery and has become an inspiration to injured veterans everywhere.

Manchester
This time Alan Titchmarsh and the team head to Manchester to turn a concrete patch of dismal cracked pavers and hard edges in to a beautiful classic cottage garden. The transformation is for Salford born identical twins Rita and Betty Mills (87).

Chandlers Ford
Alan Titchmarsh and the team head to Chandlers Ford near Eastleigh in Hampshire this week to turn a neglected suburban back garden into a woodland-style retreat complete with a rustic sunken outdoor living room.The garden is for the Richardson family who are facing a very difficult future. After several very challenging years, father of two, Jason has been taken off the heart and kidney transplant list and survives only by the means of a heavy portable external machine which keeps his heart working and three weekly sessions of kidney dialysis. This means the whole family are now tied very much to their home and desperately need an outdoor space on their doorstep that can become an escape.

Shrewsbury
This week Alan and the team create a garden like no other they've done before.The team head to Shrewsbury in Shropshire to meet Air Ambulance heroine Gina Constable. The former nurse's dedication to this vital life-saving service is unprecedented. For over 21 years she has helped raise more than a quarter of a million pounds - a figure which works out at over 100 life-saving air ambulance missions.

Eastbourne
Alan and the team surprise a 93-year-old veteran from WW2. Jack King was a Japanese prisoner of war on the infamous Thailand Burma railway. He is now a widower and wants to revive the beautiful garden he shared with his wife Audrey. Jack is also a passionate painter who longs to access the studio he built himself at the end of his garden. Sadly this garden has become a no go area for Jack. The team work hard to create a beautiful garden full of happy memories, art and a stunning new studio that Jack is able to access easily.

Southampton
Alan Titchmarsh and his team transform a garden in Southampton into a super-stylish contemporary outdoor space for the Jordan family, who are still coming to terms with the loss of devoted mother and wife, Shelly-Ann. Alan and the team take on the challenge of creating a garden that will suit the whole family, and also keep Shelly-Ann's memory alive.

Hythe
Alan and the Love Your Garden Team head to Hythe to create a sensory garden for an inspirational little girl who has severely limited vision and, who will one day go completely blind.

Blackpool Zoo
Such is the dedication of 28-year-old inspirational zookeeper John Paul Houston, he chooses not only to work but also live full time at Blackpool Zoo. When he's not raising money for wildlife preservation, the committed conservationist's extraordinary hand-rearing miracles have helped make Blackpool Zoo one of the top centres for ornithological study and bird conservation. Alan meets John Paul in the penguin enclosure and takes on the challenge of transforming an uninspiring scruffy piece of lawn, next to and overlooking the public car park. With a clever design, he turns it into a private retreat for John Paul to share with all the other dedicated keepers at the zoo. Alan and the team fill it with animal- and wildlife-friendly ideas and share their tips on clever ways to create privacy without building walls and fences.

Nottingham
Alan and the Team head to Nottingham this week to surprise Inspirational boxing coach Marcellus Baz (41) with not one, but two garden transformations. First, the team visit Marcellus' gym, where they work to turn a dark alley into a productive kitchen garden, before heading to Marcellus' own home to transform his garden into a Moroccan-inspired outdoor space.
