Pilot
Michael Adams is a documentary film-maker with aspirations to work in feature film production, and his wife Kate has a career in public relations. Kate complains that their sex life is suffering because of their busy schedules, so they plan a romantic evening in. Michael arrives home to find Kate's sister Becky there, so retaliates by inviting his best friend Lander over. Then their friends Ruth and Tom show up as well. Kate and Michael retreat to the kitchen to argue in private, but the guests get shut in the dining room so they manage to spend some special time together after all.
Out of the Past
Michael bumps into Anne, an old girlfriend from college, and invites Kate to meet her. Lander comes along too and he and Michael compete for Anne's attention.
The Apartment
Kate discovers that Michael has retained the lease on the flat he lived in before they were married. She wants him to get rid of it, but he has a sentimental attachment to it.
Kate tries to get her own back using a rugby shirt which belonged to one of her old boyfriends.
I'm Just So Happy for You
Kate lands a major account and Michael has one of his film projects rejected on the same day. Michael tries to 'put on a happy face' when Kate holds a celebration party, but he finds it very difficult.
Maid About You
A Russian girl named Natalya develops a crush on Michael when she is hired to clean his and Kate's flat.
Love Among the Tiles
Michael and Kate are getting ready to go to Ruth's Valentine's Day party. They are both in the bathroom when Michael accidentally pulls the door handle off. They're trapped in there all evening. Meanwhile, at the party, Lander is getting to know Becky better.

They then must assess on the spot if the unit is worth a bid and how high they will actually go to grasp the gold. The high-stakes fun begins as we see if the resulting buy is full of mostly trash... or true treasure.
