Luna, la heredera (2004-2005)

Luna lives with her mother in a small village at the Caribbean beach. This beautiful piece of land is targeted by Esteban Lombardo, a wealthy businessman who wishes to build a hotel resort there. Victoria Mendoza, Luna's mother refuses to sell her property and gets help from Mauricio García, a young lawyer, whose sole purpose is to bankrupt Lombardo. One day Luna and Mauricio meet at the beach and the kiss they share changes their destiny. Unfortunately Victoria dies tragically during a struggle with a henchman, sent there to force her to sell the land. Now Luna becomes the heiress to the land and the local police suspects her in the murder of her own mother. She leaves her home and arrives in the city, where she stays with her aunt Beatriz and her family. Her cousin Margarita works in a modeling agency and gets Luna a job as seamstress. But her life changes drastically when the fashion designer Danny sees Luna as his new model and inspiration. One evening after her makeover Luna attends a soiree at the club where she bumps into Mauricio and produces a very serious impression on him. Later that night she saves Rodrigo's life, unaware that he is the son of Esteban, the person responsible for all her problems. Rodrigo falls in love with Luna and decides to change his ways. Meanwhile Rodrigo's cousins Paloma, who has feelings for him and Daniela, ruthless and ambitious, who is Mauricio's lover are having plans for getting their hands on Esteban's entire fortune. But Luna's sudden appearance immediately makes her a threat and foe.
