When Victoire is about to confess to Jules her slip-up, he leaves her. He does not hold it against her, he does not think he is good enough for her. Alice had to cancel her operation, due to lack of money. She begins a fast. Feuillate, whose relationship is in crisis, gets closer to Janin. Victoire is having a hard time with her breakup and ends up giving in to Vlad.
