Mussolini has just founded the Fasci di Combattimento when D'Annunzio takes Fiume. Mussolini hopes to successfully use the poet's endeavor for the election.

Episodio 2
The elections have decreed the absolute victory of the socialists. Mussolini seems finished, but landowners and industrialists seek his help against the strikes.

Episodio 3
With his entry into parliament, Mussolini wants to change: to be more strategic, diplomatic, a true statesman. But the black shirts rebel.

Episodio 4
Following strikes and protests, the king excludes the socialists from the government. Mussolini threatens a fascist insurrection, in an attempt to take over everything.

Episodio 5
Mussolini wants a new electoral law that will guarantee him an absolute majority. But Father Sturzo, the leader of the Catholics, opposes it.

Episodio 6
Mussolini opens the party lists to turncoat politicians from other parties. An early fascist leader, Forni, takes sides against him.

Episodio 7
Mussolini wins the elections by a landslide, but Matteotti, a socialist, asks for their annulment, denouncing the violence of the black shirts. Mussolini decides to teach him a lesson.

Episodio 8
With the discovery of Matteotti's body and the arrest of his assassins, Mussolini is cornered. Will he be able to save himself and fascism?
