The 34th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade was held on November 24, 1960, in New York City, and was shown to viewers live on NBC that same day from 9:45 a.m. to noon EST. It was hosted by Buffalo Bob Smith and Paul Tripp. The lineup featured four giant character balloons, ten floats, hundreds of clowns, marching bands, a host of guest stars, and the one-and-only Santa Claus.
