Maddie + Triggs - Season 1

It's bath time in Higgledy-Piggledy, but Triggs can't find his bath toy, Denis the Ducky. They embark on a bubble-tastic submarine adventure to the bottom of the ocean, but can Captain Maddie and Lieutenant Triggs rescue Denis the Ducky before it's too late?

Maddie and Triggs are camping in the woods with Dad. But when rain comes to spoil their campfire fun, they all rush inside the tent. Dad is not happy, but a visit from a cheerful little raindrop soon has the whole gang dancing around the tent.

Dad is taking Maddie to school on his bicycle, but their journey through the park soon turns into an intergalactic space adventure. They listen to the sounds around them and imagine themselves as brave explorers, shooting like rockets into the unknown.

While crunching leaves in the garden, Maddie and Triggs make a new friend named Reginald the Caterpillar. Reginald tells them all about where he lives and what he eats, giving them a whole new perspective on munchy, crunchy, scrunchy leaves.

Maddie and Triggs are at the seaside building sandcastles. But when one seashell starts to move, they realise it's no shell at all, but Sailor Nancy - the fanciest crab to ever walk sideways! Can they save Nancy's fancy sandcastle before the tide comes in?

Maddie and Triggs are helping Dad in the garden. When he asks them to fill the watering can, they get distracted by the strange echoes inside and are magically transported into the belly of a whale. Can they help their new friend Harriot find her singing voice?

Triggs is feeling a bit blue and finds it hard to get out of bed. That pesky birdie outside his window isn't helping either. But Maddie thinks she knows what the Birdie might be singing about and helps her friend step outside to greet the day.

Maddie is at home waiting for the postman. She's expecting a letter from Uncle George, everybody's favourite uncle, but each time she hears a knock at the door, it seems to be someone else! Maybe today's not the day for George's letter?

Maddie is at her Granny's house, and she's very bored. The only entertainment is the whistling sound from the old kettle! Where's the adventure? Little does Maddie know that Granny gets up to all sorts of adventures on her magic disco train.

Triggs has lost his woof and needs to visit the vet. Maddie feels a little scared for her buddy, her song just doesn't sound right without him. But luckily, a new friend and his enormous collection of animals reassures her that everything will be okay.

Maddie and Triggs sneak out of bed in search of a tasty midnight feast. But can they creep past Mum and Dad's room without making a noise? And more importantly, can they figure out why two of the crispy buns are already missing?

Maddie, Triggs and Dad are making a special cake for Granny. Dad is extremely careful about following the recipe, but Maddie has a slightly looser approach. Okay, a lot looser… Will their new bonkers cake pass the Granny test?

It's Maddie's first day at chess club, and she's a little lonely because Mum can't come with her. But she soon meets a cool new friend, who helps her settle in. Before long, that desert island feeling turns into a tropical paradise.

It's almost bedtime, but Maddie doesn't want to brush her teeth. Dad tells her all about the mysterious pearly whites (aka her teeth!), and how they sometimes start to sing when they're tickled. Really, singing teeth? It couldn't be true… Could it?

Mum is taking Maddie and Triggs to McGinty's farm to hear his world-famous animal orchestra. But McGinty's star performer, Gary the Chicken, won't come out of his coop! Can Maddie use her musical skills and expert diplomacy to save the day?

Maddie's neighbour Phillip keeps kicking his football into their garden, much to her frustration. But she soon discovers that Phillip's actions may not be accidental after all. 

When a rogue fly buzzes in through Maddie's bedroom window, Triggs and Dad attempt to find the most effective way of dealing with this uninvited, buzzy house guest.

Maddie is annoyed when the wind takes her paper bird away, but soon both she and Triggs are blown away on a magical adventure that celebrates all the things the wind can do.

Triggs sings about one of his favourite places in the whole world, the dog park, as he and Maddie help a nervous newcomer find her feet and reclaim her roar. 

Triggs's favourite teddy is a bit stinky and needs a wash, but poor Triggs is worried and doesn't want to let it go. Can Maddie help reassure him that everything will be okay? 
 

While helping Nana prune Mum's tree, Maddie is shocked to learn that this means cutting off all its branches! But, as always, Dado has a few crafty surprises up his sleeve.

Maddie and Triggs are intrigued when Mum suggests they use the microwave to cook dinner. Can this singing robot microwave really make a healthy meal that's delicious and nutritious? 

While donating some old items to Higgledy Heroes charity shop, Maddie has second thoughts about giving away her old xylophone. Can she really let go of her very first instrument?

There is something fishy about the newest house guest, but Maddie and Triggs are determined to get to know the new arrival and figure out what makes him bloop.

While helping Mum babysit their neighbour Sally, Maddie and Triggs learn that words can sometimes be confusing, especially if they're coming from the mouth of a mischievous toddler. 

It's a rainy day, and Maddie and Triggs are bored. But when they start to really listen to all the tiny sounds in their house, they soon discover the music of the noises indoors.

While looking for a spoon for her yogurt, Maddie realises that all the teaspoons have gone missing - it's like they all got up and marched off! Maddie is on hand to find a surprisingly musical way to get them back where they belong. 

Maddie, Triggs, Mum and Dad are going for a walk in the countryside, but Dad is adamant that he does not want his pristine hiking shoes to get dirty. Luckily, Maddie and Triggs are on hand to stop their buddy getting muddy! 
 

While helping Mum sort through some of the postcards on the fridge, Maddie and Triggs imagine themselves travelling all over the world with their very cool uncle. 

Maddie and Triggs are out for a walk with Granny when they hear some interesting sounds coming from an old bell tower, and before long, they make friends with Ding, Dong, Bing and Bong - four creaky singing bells in need of some help!

Maddie and Triggs can't wait to watch the season finale of their favourite show, Trumpet Cat. But there's one small problem… snack attacks! Maddie's popcorn is loud, Triggs's doggy biccies are even louder - and no-one can hear Trumpet Cat! As Maddie and Triggs grumble about how annoying and different the other one is, they also wonder if these differences might also be what makes them the perfect pair. 

Maddie and Triggs are off on a hill walk with Mum – but it's just not the same without Dad. As they wander through the windy hills, they meet a new friend who introduces them to the wonders of yodelling. That gives Maddie an idea... maybe they can reach Dad after all? 
 

Everyone is excited to see the new piece of pottery that Mum has made - it's a glug jug! But when Maddie accidentally breaks a piece of the jug, she doesn't know what to do. Should she try to cover it up, or should she just tell mum?

Maddie and Triggs want to get their toy train all the way from Phillipsburg to Maddiesville, but Phillip is finding it hard to let go of his dream track layout. Can he find a way to listen to Maddie's ideas so that the train can keep going round and round?

Maddie and Dad are back from a shopping trip, and Triggs is so excited to see them that his tail just won't stop wagging. In fact, it's so waggy that it is actually causing trouble and knocking things over! 

Maddie and Triggs are off to the bowling alley with Mum and Dad. Everyone else is knocking down pins, but poor Dad just can't catch a break. Time to focus! Can Maddie and Triggs help Dad find his bowling groove and get that elusive strike, or will he be left in the gutter? 
 

Mum and Dad are heading out for the evening, and Mum has already told their babysitter, Uncle George, not to turn the house upside down! Surely there are ways to have the best night ever without making a big mess…

Mum takes Maddie and Triggs to McGinty's annual sports day. But when Triggs is selected to take part in the obstacle race, he soon realises that it's all about winning and not about having fun. With Maddie's help, Triggs tries to show the other competitors that having fun with your friends is more important than winning. 
 

Maddie and Triggs are putting on a stage show for Mum - they've created characters, a story, costumes and songs. The only problem is, Dad keeps making noise with his DIY! Does he not realise they're trying to put on an epic show? 

Maddie and Triggs decide to measure their sunflowers to see how much they have grown, and Maddie is disappointed that her flower has not grown as tall as everyone else's. As they talk to the flower, they think they might know the reason. Before long, Maddie is helping their little flowery friend to say yes and be positive. 

While out for an evening walk, Maddie, Triggs and Dad meet a little bat who's lost! As Brigid tells them all about how she uses sound to get around, Maddie and Triggs make some bat noises of their own as they take flight and help Brigid find her way back home. 

Maddie and Triggs are relaxing in the garden when they hear a meow from next door. It's Phillip's new 'pet' kitten, Peanut! Phillip wants Peanut to do tricks to impress his friends, but Maddie and Triggs help Phillip to understand that there's more to pets than tricks. 

When Triggs's chewy ball gets lost, Maddie and Triggs discover a whole world run by the Dust Bunnies - the tiny creatures who keep all the stuff that ends up under the couch! Can Maddie and Triggs convince them that they are caring and responsible enough to get their ball back?

Maddie and Triggs are having a sleepover at Nana and Dadó's, and they have a whole list of things they want to do. But when the electricity suddenly goes out, the group are forced to think of other ways to entertain themselves. Do they really need electricity to have fun with their family?

While searching for unique sounds that their bodies can make, Mum introduces Maddie and Triggs to one of the tiniest sounds of all - the sound of their own heartbeat. 

While out for a walk with Mum, Maddie and Triggs meet a new dog and her owner. But this dog is a bit different, this dog has a job! As they walk together to the dog park, Lolo explains all about her life as a working guide dog. 
 

Maddie and Triggs get the giggles as they repeatedly ask Dad 'are we there yet?' during a family car journey to Nana and Dadó's. If only Dad hadn't tried to take a shortcut! 

It's a hot summer's day in Higgledy Piggledy, and Granny is taking Maddie and Triggs to visit Mr Moon's shop for a treat. Maddie is confused because the shop doesn't seem like much fun. But Mr Moon has more than a few surprises and tasty treats up his sleeve!

Mum's got a new sound bowl, and Maddie and Triggs are eager to join her for some meditation. Being still and listening to Mum's sound bowl is right up Triggs's street, but Maddie soon realises that people have very different ways to feel calm and relaxed.

Maddie and Triggs are having a camping sleepover in their garden, but things take a mysterious twist when Dad discovers someone, or something, has been eating the vegetables in his veggie patch. Maddie and Triggs turn super sleuths and conclude this is the work of a veggie monster! 
 

When Maddie is invited to play a new game, tennis by sound, she is initially apprehensive - she's worried she won't be able to see the ball! Luckily, Bella the Ball is here to help, and before long, Maddie discovers all the fun you can have when you really take the time to listen. 

When Maddie and Triggs realise it's time for Uncle George to go, they do everything they can to stop him from leaving - it's been such a fun holiday, and they don't want it to stop! But luckily, Uncle George knows some more ways they can say goodbye - without actually saying goodbye.
