Bird's Nest and Helmet
Today, Maddie learns all about strong structures. She goes to a nature reserve to learn about birds' nests before heading to a bike helmet factory to find out about a material called carbon fibre.

Electric car and Wind
Maddie visits an electric car factory to learn how an electric car works and how they make the energy they need to move. Afterwards, she heads to the beach to find out how hot and cold air make wind.

Maddie finds out how we use our bodies to keep a hula hoop up in the air with something called centripetal force, as well as heading to a tent factory to find out how tents are made from nylon

The Ark
