Milan, 1974. Art student Irene Mastrangelo, the daughter of immigrants from the South, finds a job at fashion magazine Appeal.

Episodio 2
Fashion Milan is preparing for a big event: Krizia's catwalk at the Triennale. When Rita doesn't show, Irene decides to take her place.

Episodio 3
While Monica gets creative with a children's fashion shoot in Milan, Irene travels to the Missonis' at Sumirago to fetch some clothes for a shoot.

Episodio 4
Irene, now single, travels to Morocco for a photo shoot for Lella Curiel. When her model falls ill she has to find a quick fix.

Episodio 5
Rita asks Irene, who has just passed her journalism exam, to accompany her to Giorgio Armani's studio where he is preparing the first collection in his name.

Episodio 6
When problems with her son pull Rita away from an interview with Valentino in Rome, she asks Irene and Monica to cover for her.

Episodio 7
Fashion entrepreneur Beppe Modenese organizes Idea Como, an innovative opportunity for designers and weavers to meet.

Episodio 8
Nava and Ludovica have abandoned Appeal to found rival magazine Fascino, and have lured away top talent from Appeal.
