Huge disagreements between journalist Torgrim Hammern and political editor Frank Mathiesen causes a challenging vibe in the newspaper environment. Later, Hammern is found dead in the parking area, and a rumour starts spreading that an organized group is killing journalists.
Hedninger
The surveilance tape capturing the Hammern murder is leaked. Political editor Mathiesen is asked to go to the police after discovering the letters found on Hammern's car is also in the commentary in Mathiesens publications. Peter and Mathiesen think Hammern was onto something big, and they visit his wife hoping to find clues.

Peter's friendship with Mathiesen is tested. Technology journalist Georg helps Peter find a log of conversations between the murdered Hammern and someone calling himself 'No Reason'.

The shooting of another victim and Mathiesen's dangerous meeting with the terrorist are linked to the Prime Minister's grand education reform. What links Hammem to the PM's project?

Tension mounts between hostages Peter, Ellen and Mathiesen who are held by the person Hammern tried to squeeze for information. Cabinet ministers squabble about who is to lead the hunt for the political killers.

Fritzmann informs the Ministers of Education and Justice and Ulrichsen that they are suspected of high treason. Amelia discovers that it is Aslak who has been harassing her with messages about the rape she endured.
Yggdrasil
Peter succeeds in freeing himself and kills Mel, before taking his USB key containing a copy of the photos of Hammern. He returns alone to Oslo with the help of Fritzmann whom he contacted from Istanbul.

The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one-third of the time. Good luck, Bill!
