Season 2
Cassandra reunites with her father after a decade, and finds a loving man eager to reconnect with his daughter and her new family. As her beliefs fade into thin air, she will try to figure out what kind of woman, mother, daughter and girlfriend she wants to be. During this search, Gersinho, the boy who caused the tsunami in her life, will also be her life boat and source of joy.

On the way back from Gersinho's math contest, their car breaks down and Cassandra is forced to ask her father for help. While Gersinho and Leide are happy to meet Lourenço, Cassandra is shaken by the reunion, and her idealized view of her mother begins to crumble.

In São Paulo, Cassandra goes back to her family of choice and resumes her frantic work life. She also meets with Ivaldo. Things aren't going so well with Vanusa, and Cassandra starts having trouble with the set list of her shows. In Morretes, Leide and Gersinho learn a lot as they spend time with Cassandra's father and his new wife.

Leide and Gersinho return to São Paulo, but the boy won't live where he wanted. Cassandra agrees to pick him up from school every day. Ivaldo takes his daughter Ivana to meet Cassandra at the Metamorphosis bar.

Cassandra's motorcycle breaks down and she must find an alternative transportation to make the deliveries. To help her friend, Roberta proposes that Cassandra work as a bartender. Leide and Gersinho plan his birthday party. While trying to sell her car, Leide receives an unexpected proposal. In order to get money, Cassandra needs to sell something valuable.
Canta, canta...
Cassandra continues to work as a bartender at the Metamorphosis bar, but the financial problems keep going. She needs to find a way out and calls Gersinho to help her. Leide is great with her new job. Décio has his first solo show.

With a new motorcycle, Cassandra tries to make up for lost time and money to go to her son's party. Gersinho uses his gift money to buy Cassandra a present. She introduces her son to her chosen family. For the first time, Cassandra considers looking for her mother.
