Manhattan, AZ - Season 1

A recently widowed Los Angeles policeman moves to a small Arizona town with his son, takes a job as sheriff and realizes how strange its residents are.

Daniel tries to find a clue that will help him discover why elderly citizens keep turning up dead beneath falling cacti. 

A local tribe of light-skinned Native Americans declare war on Manhattan.

Daniel has to contend with Jake's inept nephew Clyde, who's the new deputy. Meanwhile, a mysterious biker comes to town.

Daniel learns that there are drug smugglers at the annual "Mexico to America Cattle Drive" festival. 

Daniel looks into the claim of a young woman who insists that Jake is her biological father.

A swarm of bees descends on Manhattan.

A woman named Dr. Charles buys the mayor's zoo but she wants to turn it into a hunting reserve.

Daniel thinks there's a connection between Atticus's new job at the Air Force base and some mishaps in town. 

Jake is arrested for a deadly hit-and-run, and Atticus decides to impress a girl by taking advantage of Jake's stuff while he's away.

Jake marries a former prostitute and suspects her father is the one who's been trying to murder him. Meanwhile, Atticus runs away to L.A.

Daniel enlists the help of an old LAPD buddy to help find Atticus, while Jake receives a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Daniel discovers that Jake is at the center of a bizarre, 30-year-old Hollywood mystery, and an ancient movie producer wants him dead.
