Mannix launches a double-edged search for Brad Turner and Jimmy Whitewing, two friends of Peggy's, who are wrongly accused of murder, and for the real killer who can only be linked to the crime by a dancer. Brad and Jimmy seek refuge in Peggy's apartment, but flee when Mannix offers to help them under the condition they tell their story to the police.

Mannix's mentor is thrown to his death from a high-rise apartment, and the primary suspect asks Mannix to find a woman who can clear his name.

Ellen Barton hires Mannix to determine that her husband's death in a scuba-diving accident was no accident.

The private secretary of a murdered PI comes to Mannix for help. She doesn't remember much about her boss' cases, but men are trying to kill her anyway.

A man hires Mannix to track down a pedestrian he may have ran over with his car. But the only witness claims nothing happened, and men threaten Mannix figuring that he killed the pedestrian.

The Sound of Darkness
An assassin's bullet grazes Mannix and renders him blind, and he trains to overcome his condition and defend himself for the killer's return.

A supposedly murdered man lets his killer belief that he's dead... and hires Mannix to find the person responsible.

A pharmacy robber's wife hires Mannix to clear her husband after he robs the same pharmacy twice.

Blind Mirror
Mannix hunts down a secretary who claims that her boss attempted to kill his estranged wife. The boss says that she misinterpreted what she saw, and the PI has to figure out the truth.

Harlequin's Gold
Mannix goes undercover as a sailor when a bank hires him to find a missing man.

Who is Sylvia?
An executive's wife hires Mannix to find out who is trying to kill her. The only clue: a locket with the word "Sylvia" written on it.

Only One Death to a Customer
Someone hires three unrelated hitmen to take out Mannix. He survives the attempts and travels to Nevada to find the person responsible.

Fly, Little One
Mannix must decipher the fantasies of an emotionally-disturbed 9-year-old girl who witnesses the death of her doctor and the theft of $150,000 in bearer bonds.

The Search for Darrell Andrews
A private eye and friend of Mannix's turn up dead, apparently drowned. But Mannix believes there's more involved... as do the two men who abduct Peggy and Toby and demand Mannix turn the evidence over to him.

An alleged crook, Armitage, is murdered on air while participating in a telephone interview. A woman is caught fleeing the scene and arrested, and her twin sister hires Mannix to prove her innocent.

War of Nerves
A young horsewoman disappears, and everyone Mannix talks to say that she never arrived at the country fair where she supposedly disappeared.

Once Upon a Saturday
Mannix helps out a friend who works at a carnival and whose life has been threatened several times.
