Cabaret

Jade Campana, review leader at "Plumes de Toulon", is found dead in a dumpster behind the cabaret. Naomi, his young and ambitious competitor, is the main suspect. But Marianne is also interested in Prudence, a discreet feather worker, who was once employed as a nanny by the victim, then fired for obscure reasons. Digging into this trail, Marianne discovers that Prudence, then a nanny, had been raped by Jade's husband, then odiously fired. To buy his silence and avoid scandal, Jade had him hired as a feather worker at the cabaret. While everything seems to incriminate Prudence, her son Adam goes to the police to accuse himself of the murder. A logical revenge but one that Marianne cannot believe.
