Thrilling Tokata

Tokata is a storyteller, and a leader among the indigenous youth for whom she advocates. Her activism has succeeded in shining a light on the legacy of her community, and she has worked hard to amplify the voices of other indigenous children. Tokata takes her storytelling power and shares it with so many others, forming media workshops so other indigenous youth have access to the tools and platforms to tell their own stories. Tokata's efforts have galvanized young storytellers everywhere, adding to the rich fabric of American stories that should never be forgotten. Now, Marvel celebrates Tokata in a story of her own -- immortalized in her own comic book. It's just one of a few surprises that await her when she joins Marvel's Hero Project.
