Mary enters the library. She sees that the librarian on duty is a man and feels embarresed about getting her books on sex. She asks him where the female librarian went, and he replies that she has done her work for the day. Mary wants to get the books but is still embarresed. He feels that something is wrong and asks her if she is sure these aren't her books. Mary says her friend is Mary Hartman and that she can take the books with her. She leaves the library with the books in a brown paper bag so no one can see the titles. Meanwhile at the factory, it is lunch time. Tom and Charlie sit together and eat their lunch. Charlie says he knows something is wrong between Tom and Mary. Mae enters to tell Charlie she did something concerning the check he got for work. Charlie is made happy because Loretta can record in a studio that night! After Mae leaves, Tom comments on how nice she is. Meanwhile, Martha Shumway enters the office of Roberta Walashek, who will be Grandpa Larkin's physchologis
