Marth, Grandpa Larkin, and Heather are watching Clete Mizenheimer and Jesus Jarrera report from the abandoned chinese laundry where Mary is being held by Little Davey Jessup. Jesus reports that there's a 'flash flash! We have just learned that one of Fernwood's finest is attempting to enter the rear of the chinese laundry. He is reported to be armed and dangerous, and so is the killer. So in case of any bloodshed or death, Clete and I will be right here on target!' Heather is scared that her mother Mary is going to be hurt. Martha reassures her by telling her by telling her that they wouldn't allow that much violence on television. Meanwhile, in the Chinese laundry, Davey and Mary are sleeping when a sound makes Davey wake up. This wakes up Mary, and they go to the back of the Chinese laundry, which has a window in it.
